Professional Experience.

During this period I worked directly under the President and vice-president of the Puerto Rico Planning Board in the development of the agencyies graphic identity for web, social media and print media. Gave support to the community in public participation processes and worked in the design, editing and revision process of multiple plans, regulations and presentations, including the Puerto Rico Land Use Plan.

While working as the assistant of the Director of the Office of Marketing and Communications of the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras campus, I worked hand to hand with the Rector in the development of informative documents. I also worked in the development of multiple campaigns to promote the campus, its faculties and programs in the way of strengthening its graphic identity and projection abroad.

As the assistant of the Dean of the School of Architecture of the University of Puerto Rico, I worked in the conceptualization and design of special projects, inside and outside the campus. During this time I did investigative work and worked in the coordination of exhibitions for the school. In addition, I collaborated in the editing and design of the magazine “(in)forma”.

Education.

Graduated with honors (Manga Cum Laude). I had an enriching investigative and educational experience. During this time I had the opportunity to participate in local and international competitions and some of my work got published in the magazine of the School of Architecture “(in)forma”. In my thesis, Transformable Housing: An alternative model for Puerto Rico, I studied the subject of the mutation of the individual units as the need to offer more responsive designs.

Graduated with honors (Manga Cum Laude). While doing my bachelors I was exposed to different branches of design (graphic, architectural, industrial, etc.). In addition, at the same time, was a member of the University of Puerto Rico Honor Society and participated in several cultural exchanges with students from other countries such as México, Guatemala, United States and others.

As part of my academic formation, I had the opportunity to try various types of art media, especially digital design. During this time I was the winner of two design competitions: the “Energizer” prize of the “Navidarte” competition and the “Arrecife de Coral” prize of the competition “Ilustraciones de los Ecosistemas de Puerto Rico” sponsored by the Puerto Rico Telephone and the  Puerto Rico Environmental Quality Board.
